2. Visit a National Trust Property
Cornwall has many stately homes, estates and castles scattered throughout its landscape. Visit National Trust properties such as Trerice Manor. An intimate Elizabethan manor and a Cornish gem, Trerice remains little changed by the advances in building fashions over the centuries.
3. Go for a walk!
Newquay is gorgeous, rain or shine so why not take the coastal routes (gentle stroll or get the heart pumping) and soak up the beautiful scenery and dramatic coast lines Newquay has to offer.

Ok so it’s not in Newquay but the Eden Project is the place to be for family days out in the rain. After all, you can be in a warm, dry garden with all sorts of brilliant children’s activities on tap and learn about the weird and wonderful world of nature.
Head to Newquay Water World and enjoy the indoor pool complete with two water flumes, cannons and tippers, tropical fun pool and erupting volcano!
